Bus Expectations

Many DBS students start and end the day on one of The Hartford School District’s buses.  To help all of these students have a positive experience, the drivers work hard to maintain a safe bus environment and they can use your help to achieve this end.  They would greatly appreciate it, if you would take a moment to stress the importance of appropriate school bus behavior with your child/ren.  This behavior includes sitting with both feet on the floor, facing forward, keeping legs out of the aisle, and speaking in a soft voice.  In addition to your conversation, on Friday, September 7th the school will practice bus safety procedures with every student and on Tuesday, September 11th students that ride the bus regularly will meet with their bus driver to review behavior expectations.  Thank you for your help in making every bus ride a safe and positive experience.
